Intelligent Energy® is a natural gas provider to all commercial and industrial consumers, in the areas we serve, receiving what utilities call either "firm service" or "interruptible service". A firm service customer is one who is not subject to utility gas service interruption requiring them to switch to an alternate fuel (generally heating oil or propane). An interruptible customer can be subject to interruption of service and required to use an alternative fuel source.

We offer a number of pricing options including 3, 2, and 1 year fixed price; 6 or 3 month fixed price; and a fixed adder to the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) monthly settlement price. Where can a commercial or industrial customer find more options? We have an option for every business need.

If this sounds sophisticated, there's more...We are able to tailor out fixed price options and the fixed adder to your specific usage pattern. With your approval, we can obtain your accounts usage history from your utility electronically - generally in one day. We recalculate your usage based on a normal daily temperatures and develop what we call a normal weather usage profile. Intelligent Energy® will use that profile to calculate pricing for the options you are considering and you will pay that price per unit of gas used (in therms) regardless of the weather actually experienced.
